The Sims 4 First Snow mod is a mod for The Sims 4 that adds a layer of snow to the neighborhood.

The Sims 4 didn't launch with changing weather, and this mod aims to change that. This mod puts a layer of snow on the ground and in the trees, giving the game the look of a true winter wonderland. The mod itself is very stable and won't interfere with your game, and you'll be provided with an entirely new look for your neighborhood.

Most of the problems with this mod exist simply because it's a mod. Mods for The Sims 4 aren't as easy to install as they are with some other games, and new users can get a little confused by the process. Perhaps the worst part of getting the mod is the process of actually obtaining it - this isn't something you can do from the launch screen, so you'll need to remember where the mod was saved and how to work with it after you're done. After all that work, though, all you'll be rewarded with is snow - there are no new actions, and your game will continue on much the same as it did before.

If you're a huge fan of winter or you simply want to add some snow to The Sims 4, this mod is a good download. Make sure to follow the installation process precisely, though, and don't expect your Sims to be particularly changed by the weather. This is a purely aesthetic mod, but that's good enough for some. Give it a download to see a winter wonderland.
